I'm 32...Wait, 34...Wait, what?

birth.png

What is the deal with players that are either from the Dominican Republic, Central America, Cuba, basically anywhere south of the country that there are always questions about the "real" age of athletes? And now, we hear that Miguel Tejada has now been found out by E:60 on ESPN that he's actually 34, not 32.

Oooooohhhhh.....the travesty of it all.

I mean, seriously--this is what passes for news today? And the thing that is funny about it is that on the show, they asked Tejada and then presented him with his birth certificate and he ended the interview. I mean, it's embarrassing, but is it THAT embarrassing? It's not like he's trying to grab a social security check or anything, and of course that would make a difference back when he was a child trying to get a contract to make himself OLDER, not younger, but what the h e double toothpicks?

Whatever. If this is what is the headlines are, we've got a long season ahead of us.
